First Missouri Bank is hoping a new branch office in North Kansas City will help it diversify its base of agriculture and rural banking.
If approved by regulators, this would be the sixth location for the bank, based in Brookfield, Mo. — and its closest location Kansas City's core. Its other metro-area location is in Kearney.
CEO Mark Smith said the bank has board members from North Kansas City and a decent foothold of clients as well, so the location makes sense.
