The Missouri Comets won the Major Indoor Soccer League championship on March 16.
After winning the first game of the series 15-8 at the Independence Events Center on March 14, the Comets headed to Baltimore for game two, losing 19-4. The series immediately went into a 15-minute mini-game to determine the champion, and Comets won 6-4.
