Business owners in Kansas express much more optimism about the future of the national and state economy than their peers in Missouri, according to a study by BMO Harris Bank.
In Kansas, 32 percent of business owners expect the national economy to improve in 2014, and 29 percent expect it to remain the same. In Missouri, only 19 percent expect the national economy to improve, and 50 percent expect it to remain the same.
