General Motors Co. announced its eligible union employees will each receive a profit-sharing check worth an average of $10,750 on Feb. 22.
The 2015 collective bargaining agreement with United Auto Workers (UAW) members requires General Motors to make profit-sharing payments based on its profitability. The manufacturer (NYSE: GM) recorded net income of $8.1 billion after taxes in 2018.
