Every vehicle produced in Kansas City saw its sales jump dramatically in August.
The Ford F-Series logged August sales of 71,115, up 22 percent from a year ago, its 25th consecutive monthly increase. It's the second time this year that F-Series sales topped 70,000, a feat that had not happened since 2006.
The Ford F-150 is produced at the company's Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Mo. It remains the best selling vehicle in North America.
