An Overland Park family claims it was defrauded out of a $418,000 investment in an International House of Pancakes (IHOP) in Olathe.
Austin Lehr reached agreements in February and June of 2012 with Wajdi Tabel to invest $375,000 in the IHOP at 15410 W. 119th St. in Olathe, in exchange for 7.5 percent of gross sales per month. The money came from Austin Lehr’s parents, Robert and Carolyne Lehr.
