BATS names former Nasdaq exec as new president

BATS Global Markets named an executive with experience in building up the Nasdaq exchange as its new president. Chris Concannon spent the past five years as president and COO of Virtu Financial, an electronic market-maker, providing liquidity for exchanges around the world.
