Metcalf Bank will change its name to Central Bank of the Midwest on Nov. 14.
Metcalf Bank CEO Tom Fitzsimmons said the name change isn't due to an ownership change. Instead, he said it's part of a marketing effort to unify all 13 of the banks owned by Jefferson City-based Central Bancompany, which will all be gradually taking "Central Bank"-related names.
