Leawood-based Mariner Holdings created a new entity called Mariner Retirement Advisors, that will offer 401(k) advisory services.
Mariner's existing 401(k) practice led by Tim Helsel will be absorbed into the new entity, which also brought in industry veterans David Stofer, Mark Nothnagel and their team which was previously with SageView Advisory Group's office in Kansas City. At SageView, the team managed more than 150 clients and more than $3 billion in assets.
