In order to get more focused on its specialty business, Spencer Reed Group LLC sold its temporary commercial staffing division to Elwood Staffing for an undisclosed amount.
The division, which is called Encore Staffing Services, has 12 offices in Missouri, Kansas, California, Texas, Arizona and Pennsylvania. The acquisition gives Elwood Staffing, based in Columbus, Ind., its first locations in Kansas and Missouri. Elwood plans to rebrand all the Encore locations within the next 90 days.
