General Motors Co. announced six recalls Wednesday involving 717,950 vehicles produced in the United States, bringing its total U.S. recalls this year to about 25.7 million vehicles.
Although the previous recalls involved potentially deadly issues with ignition switches, most of the latest recalls focused on a potentially loose bolt in power adjustable front seats in cars from its 2010-2012 model years. The issues with the bolt have led to two crashes and three injuries but no deaths.
