A pair of recent announcements, roughly a week apart, point to the continuing benefits to the area economy springing from a Missouri program passed in 2010.
Gov. Jay Nixon was in Riverside on April 26 for an announcement that Yanfeng USA Automotive Trim Systems would invest $45 million for a new facility in Riverside. The 258,000-square-foot plant, which will create 263 jobs, will produce interior components for General Motors Co. plants in Kansas City, Kan., and Wentzville, Mo.
