After a 44-year career in financial services, Clyde Wendel plans to retire July 1 from his role as vice chairman of UMB Bank and CEO of Global Asset Management at parent company UMB Financial Corp.
Wendel, 66, joined UMB in 2006 after 28 years at Bank of America and its prior iterations.
