First Federal Bank, one of the largest mutually-owned banks in the Kansas City area, named J.R. Buckner as its new president and CEO.
Buckner succeeds Clarence Zugelter, who retired from the day-to-day operations of the bank after 43 years there, but will remain chairman of the board.
