Ford Motor Co. announced that it surpassed sales of 500,000 F-150 trucks equipped with the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine.
The engine was introduced three years ago and is now included in about 45 percent of all F-150 sales. Produced at Ford's Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, the F-150 has been the best selling truck in America for the past 37 years.
