Starting Sunday, Kansas City's Sprint Center will begin a transformation into a magical forest at the summit of a volcano, filled with colorful fantasy creatures.
The transformation is all part of Varekai, a show by Montreal-based contemporary circus producers Cirque du Soleil. They will perform seven times from May 14 through 18 at the Sprint Center — the show's 16th stop in what will likely be a five-year worldwide arena tour.
