Kansas City-based WireCo WorldGroup Inc. announced it acquired the assets of Endenburg B.V., a Netherlands-based supplier of hoisting and lifting gear, for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 1855, Endenburg's products include steel wire ropes, shackles, fiber ropes and custom-made tarpaulin covers, making it a good match for WireCo WorldGroup. WireCo plans to establish a crane rope distribution center near the Endenburg headquarters in Gouda, Netherlands.
