Donald Gaiter, one of the principal architects behind the meteoric rise of National Bank Holdings Corp., will leave the company on April 30.
Gaiter is chief of acquisitions and strategy, a pivotal role behind the four bank acquisitions NBH (NYSE: NBHC) made between 2010 and 2011. Those deals included Bank Midwest and Hillcrest Bank in the Kansas City area and helped propel NBH from nothing to nearly $5 billion in assets today.
