The Kansas City Royals signed their first Japan-originated partnership agreement, thanks in part to outfielder Nori Aoki.
The partnership is with international mattress manufacturer Magniflex, which will receive TV-visible signage behind home plate. Major League Baseball Japan helped secure the partnership, thanks to Japanese baseball fan interest in Nori Aoki, who serves as the spokesman for the Magniflex Magni Sports mattress line.
