Agspring LLC, a Kansas City-based company looking to make a name in the agribusiness industry, has added a grain storage company to its holdings.
Agspring acquired Bayou Grain and Chemical Corp. for an undisclosed amount, beefing up the company's Big River Rice and Grain subsidiary. Established in 1967, Bayou Grain and Chemical has a storage capacity of 6.4 million bushels, including elevator storage in Parkdale, Ark. The company has experience handling soybeans, corn, oats, wheat and rice.
