Nine more former players for the Kansas City Chiefs, including two Chiefs' Hall of Famers, joined a lawsuit filed against the team that alleges they suffered brain injuries and other damages from concussions.
The suit was filed by Independence attorney Ken McClain, a highly successful tort attorney who has won settlements and damages in cases against tobacco companies, BP/Amoco and microwave popcorn manufacturers. Plaintiffs are also represented by Kansas City attorneys Paul Anderson and Dirk Vandever.
