After nearly 10 years at the helm of WireCo WorldGroup Inc., Ira Glazer resigned effective Wednesday.
Glazer, 61, is a turnaround specialist. He became president and CEO of Kansas City-based WireCo in July 2003, helping design and implement a reorganization plan after the company declared bankruptcy. WireCo had $100 million in annual sales at the time. Since then, Glazer has helped it grow to a global powerhouse in the wire rope industry.
