Longtime H&R Block exec finds new role as top 10 bank's CIO

North American Savings Bank has hired Tim Franchett as its new CIO. Franchett replaces Tim Bachta who held the position for a year, but recently resigned in order to pursue other opportunities. Franchett spent five months doing consulting work at GEHA Inc. earlier this year. Before that, he worked as vice president of technology services at H&R Block Inc.
