The United Auto Workers negotiating team reached a proposed tentative agreement on a new four-year collective bargaining agreement with General Motors Co.
The negotiating team accepted the contract and sent it to the UAW GM National Council for approval, which will review it Thursday. If approved there, it officially becomes a tentative agreement and is shared with membership. A date would be set for a ratification vote by rank-and-file membership.
