General Motors Co. gave the United Auto Workers its latest comprehensive proposal for a new collective bargaining agreement late Monday night, but it was shot down on Tuesday.
Terry Dittes, a vice president with the union, posted a note to members letting them know that the proposal was rejected and that the nationwide strike against the company will continue.
