KC's biggest accounting firm promotes local leader to higher role

Barry Davis, North region managing partner for BKD LLP, will retire on May 31. He will be succeeded by Kansas City Managing Partner Abe Cole. Davis spent six years as BKD's Kansas City managing partner before being promoted to lead the Springfield-based accounting firm's North region in 2014. He was succeeded as Kansas City managing partner by Cole and will be succeed by him again as the leader of the North region.
