Christopher Ayers became WireCo WorldGroup’s new CEO in June and has spent the past few months trying to get his arms around the company.
Although he’s still learning the ropes of the wire rope business, Ayers brings vast experience. Previously, he was president of Alcoa Inc.’s global aluminum business, known as Global Primary Products. It has more than 20,000 employees at 39 facilities worldwide and $10.5 billion in 2012 revenue.
