BlackJack Tire Supplies Inc. of Kansas City, Kan., cleared up an issue related to alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act that led to a lawsuit by the U.S. Department of Labor.
BlackJack, a manufacturer of tire repair supplies, wheel weights and tire repair tools, has an operation at 3260 N. Seventh St. Trafficway in Kansas City, Kan. It reached an agreement with the Labor Department to pay its employees $9,825 in back wages due from January 2017 to April 2018.
