Mecum Auction Inc. had sales of $8.7 million during its weekend auction at Kansas City's Bartle Hall, the highest total since selling $10 million in March 2016.
The December auction total was up 6 percent from the $8.2 million sold a year ago. The auction offered 700 vehicles that were all sold during the three-day event, which included live broadcasts on NBC Sports.
