President Barack Obama visited Ford Motor Co.'s new stamping plant in Liberty on Friday to outline his plan for improving the lives of middle-class Americans.
Ford's stamping plant is part of a $1.1 billion retooling project to build the new Transit van. The project, along with the addition of a third shift for F-150 production at the plant, will create nearly 2,000 new jobs.
