Missouri voters on Tuesday passed a new minimum wage statute called Proposition B, and it will require employers to pay close attention to how the law changes during the next five years.
Missouri's current minimum wage sits at $7.85 an hour. Proposition B bumps up the wage by 85 cents each year — starting Jan. 1 — until it reaches $12 in 2023.
