Scottrade exec joins Waddell as new chief technology officer

Waddell & Reed Financial Inc. hired Joan Albeck as a senior vice president and chief technology officer. Albeck has more than 25 years of experience in financial technology, spending the last 13 years at Scottrade Inc. where she became the company's first CTO in 2008.
