Kansas City Bier Co. continues to add awards as it meticulously expands its offerings and territory.
The Waldo-based craft brewer submitted entries at the 2018 North American Beer Awards last week and was the only Kansas City-area brewery to win medals. Its Hefeweizen won a silver medal in the Bavarian-style Hefeweizen category, and its Winterbock earned a bronze in the Dopplebock category. The medal for Winterbock comes after it won a silver medal last month at the 2018 World Beer Cup.
