Ford Motor Co. sent a letter to members of Local 249 in Kansas City saying it plans to resume F-150 production Friday after a two week-long temporary layoff due to a parts shortage.
Ford (NYSE: F) said that the B and C crews will return to work at the Kansas City plant Friday and that its A crew will return to work Monday. However, that return date is subject to change as Ford continues to work with Meridian Lightweight Technologies and other companies to get the parts it needs.
