Boulevard Brewing Co. teamed up with Lee's Summit-based Strange Music to create a new beer, called Bou Lou, that is inspired by a song by the label's artist and co-founder, Tech N9ne.
The song “Caribou Lou” refers to a drink made with 151-proof rum, Malibu rum and pineapple juice. The collaboration with Boulevard is in an unfiltered wheat beer mixed with coconut and pineapple.
The limited-release beer will debut at this year’s Boulevardia festival June 15-16 in KC’s Stockyards District.…
