When Boulevard Brewing Co. found itself maxed out on capacity in 2004, it implemented a three-phase plan that now has been fully executed with the final piece — a new canning line that is up and running Friday.
Phase one of Boulevard’s expansion plan was building a new $20 million brew house in 2005. It added the $12 million Cellar Five project in 2016, giving it more fermentation capacity. Now it has completed phase three, a $10 million canning line.
