The explosions and fire that destroyed JW's Lawn and Garden Equipment in Grandview on Jan. 3, 2017, have led to guilty pleas by two men admitting to illegally manufacturing and dealing in fireworks.
Thomas McKeehan, of Belton, pleaded guilty to manufacturing and dealing in explosive materials without a license. James Witt, of Grandview, pleaded guilty to participating in a conspiracy to manufacture and deal explosives without a license. They were indicted in late September.
