The Small Business Administration appointed Tom Salisbury as the new administrator for Region VII, which covers Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
Salisbury replaces Patricia Brown-Dixon who held the role since February 2011. She has now retired.
Salisbury spent the last seven years in Kansas City working as the small business liaison for Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.). He also has extensive banking experience, including a previous job as vice president of correspondent banking at UMB Bank.
