The tax reform bill passed by Congress includes several provisions that should provide a huge shot for Kansas City’s growing craft brewing scene.
The biggest effect will come from a provision called the Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act of 2017. The bipartisan bill was introduced in the Senate by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and co-sponsored by Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), who was the lead Republican.
