Chad Elgas, an insurance executive who joined Lockton Insurance Cos. Inc. in November, faces a lawsuit accusing him of stealing former client information and breaching his employment agreement.
Elgas formerly was senior private risk adviser at Wells Fargo Insurance Services, which was acquired Dec. 1 by USI Insurance Services LLC. Elgas resigned Nov. 28 to join Lockton as vice president of its Private Risk Solutions business. Seven other Wells Fargo employees resigned with Elgas and joined Lockton.
