Raytown-based Crane Brewing Co. installed a new packaging line that means it soon will be able to bring smaller-format bottles — and eventually cans — to the market, which will give it a better chance of putting its beers in front of people.
Launched in September 2015, Crane started out offering its beers in kegs and 750-ml bottles. It has been bottling by hand, so the large format made it easier, requiring fewer bottles.
