Waddell & Reed Financial Inc. continues to see significant changes in its leadership structure, this time reaching the chairman of the board.
The Overland Park-based mutual fund provider (NYSE: WDR) announced that Chairman Hank Herrmann will retire during the next annual shareholders meeting in April.
Herrmann retired as CEO in August 2016 after 45 years at the company but remained non-executive chairman. He has been chairman since January 2010 and a director since March 1998.
