Founded by three local guys, Strange Days Brewing Co. will become the only brewery in Kansas City's River Market neighborhood.
The partners are Nathan Howard of Overland Park, and Chris Beier and Alec Vemmer of Lee's Summit. They leased a 4,500-square-foot space at 316 Oak St., one block east of the City Market and within easy walking distance of Kansas City's streetcar line. Their brewery's niche will be offering a selection of beers in styles from around the globe.
