Brenda Wood pleads guilty to embezzlement

Kansas City businesswoman Brenda Wood pleaded guilty to one count of theft from an employee benefit program and could face five years in prison. Wood owned a building cleaning service called Professional Cleaning and Innovative Building Services Inc., as well as Action Real Estate Services LLC, G&W Investments LLC and Riverview Crossings LLC.
