CapWest is a division of Farmers Bank and Trust, which is based in Great Bend, Kan., and has a branch at 14231 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park. CapWest was founded in 2002 and has 114 employees. It originated $1.4 billion in mortgages last year. Almost all were sold into the secondary market.
