Torn Label Brewing Co. soon will launch limited-release beers from its new barrel-aging program, which was put together through partnerships with local distilleries, wineries and liquor stores.
The initial barrel-aged beer for Torn Label was called Long Time Comin', and the brewery made it as a way to celebrate its first anniversary in early 2016. It was an Imperial Stout beer aged in whiskey barrels from Kansas City-based J. Rieger & Co. It sold out in a matter of hours.
