BATS Global Markets shut down trading for about an hour on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lenexa-based electronic stock exchange shut down its BZX exchange from 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday because of a “connectivity issue,” spokesman Randy Williams said. Customers were asked to make trades on another platform until the issues could be resolved.
All systems were fine the rest of the day and will be fully operational on Wednesday, Williams said.
