BATS loses ground but remains optimistic

BATS Global Markets lost some market share in the United States and Europe but saw nice gains with its equity options business. Kansas City-based BATS Exchanges held a 10.6 percent share in the U.S. equities market in March, down from 10.9 percent a year ago.
