Ash Grove Cement announced Monday that it hired David Meyer as its new CFO.
Meyer, who will also serve as a vice president, fills a vacancy created when former CFO Randy Vance was promoted to president and COO in August 2014.
Meyer most recently was the CFO of Dairy Farmers of America, a $13 billion dairy cooperative that is the largest privately-owned business in Kansas City. While at DFA, he helped the company divest National Dairy Holdings and acquire a 100 percent stake in Kemps LLC.
