MGP Ingredients Inc. announced that its board elected Karen Seaberg, granddaughter of company founder Cloud Cray Sr., as its new chairwoman.
Seaberg succeeds her father Cloud "Bud" Cray Jr., who was chairman for the past year, as well as from 1980 to 2005. Bud Cray will continue to be chairman emeritus. Seaberg's husband, Ladd Seaberg, was chairman from 2005 to 2009, and also worked 28 years as its CEO.
